I recently purchased the iLife T10s robot vacuum, and so far, I’m quite impressed with its performance. The setup was straightforward, and it quickly got to work. The suction power is robust, and it does a good job picking up dust, pet hair, and debris from both carpets and hard floors. Overall the performance is great

Ilife L100 is a good robo vac. You need a 2.4gz (5gz will not work) wifi to setup this robo vac. Ilife App works fine and you can control the robo using app. App has all the necessary features.

After connecting to wifi and setting up the robot you can start scanning your house.. it start scanning and saves you house floor plan. After the floor plan is created you can start cleaning. App will also allow you to select specific room or area to clean. You can also create invisible wall and no go zones using the app.

I live in a 1000sft house.. my floor plan came around 500sft (cleaning area map created by robo vac excluding furniture balcony utilities etc ). This will sweep ( 45mins ) and mop ( 45mins ) my 500sft in one charge and still there will be 25 – 30% left.

Mopping and sweeping compartment are two different attachments.. it’s not like MI robot where you will have both the compartment already attached. If you want to mop your floor you need to remove the sweeping compartment and attach the mopping compartment.. this is not a big thing but just thought of mentioning.

It does the job well but I would like to dive deep and mention few pros and cons in sweeping, mopping and maintenance.

    Sweeping.

L100 sweeping capabilities are impressive. It picks up the fine dust and leaves your floor spotless.

    Pros:
=> Suction power is good and it sucks up all the fine dust.

=> U have different suction power settings and brush speed which u can choose from the app.

=> Obstacles detection is very good

=> It does not leave a spot unclean… It follows a zigzag pattern while cleaning

    Cons:
=> You need to remove your door mats (doormats with strings.. carpet kinda mats are fine) before starting the robo because it will get stuck in the rollers and it will show error and Stop there. This will damage the roller brushes.

=> You need to make a habit of disposing waste in dustbins.. because it cannot pick up the big stuff like earbuds, tissues, covers etc.,

=> You can’t leave your cable on the floor.

    Mopping:

Speaking about mopping you can expect this small machine to mop like a human does but the mopping Is decent and it gets the job done.

    Pros:

=> It follows the same zigzag pattern while mopping.

=> Water tank capacity is sufficient to clean a 1500sft area

    Cons:

=> As I said it just gets the job done can’t compared this to the conventional mopping

=> You cannot add any floor cleaner or detergent in the water tank as it clogs the pores. Instead you can use this on the mop pad.

=> As I said earlier Mopping and sweeping compartment are two different attachments.. the mopping attachment also will have a small chamber where the dust will be collected and cleaning this chamber is cumbersome as you can’t open this up.

    Maintenance:

=> You need to clean the sweeping compartment atleast two to three days once.

=> If possible clean the brushes and rollers daily.. because hair will get stuck in the rollers and it will tear up the rubber (it happened to me will attach pics for reference)

=> If maintained well you need to change the brushes and rollers in 8-12 months and filter in every 6 months (spares are available on the website)

I gave this 4star because the roller brush got damaged in just 45 days of use.. the quality could have been better or atleast it can show an error if there is too much hair got stuck. Apart from that I don’t have any complaints about this product.. I’m totally satisfied with this product.

Overall I’ll recommend this product.. sweeping capabilities are impressive and mopping is also fine.. so far i haven’t faced any issues (using since 45 days purchased on July 1st 2023).

    Hope this is helpful.

Features: 5 stars. Love the LIDAR mapping and cyclonic dust separation that actually works! (ala Dyson)

Vacuum: 3 stars. Good suction, but brush bar is small, so it misses stuff, sometimes requiring a second pass.

Mapping: 4 stars. The LIDAR is awesome. Not perfect, but a huge leap forward in technology for these things.

Implementation: 1 star…the LIDAR only seems to work when you are mapping your house. It doesn’t seem to work when it’s actually vacuuming. Also, most of the time it fails to recognize where it is located when it backs off the charging station, despite having already mapped the house and not moved the charging station. On top of that, about once every other month the map gets corrupted, requiring me to pick up a bunch of stuff that it should already know to avoid, to allow it to re-map the entire house again. Worse yet, it doesn’t seem to be able to work by simply carrying it to a new room and letting it just clean that room without first mapping it…it just gets confused and tells you to return it to the charging dock so it can figure out where it is…why not just let the LIDAR work while vacuuming and not require a new map? I don’t get it…

In conclusion, great technology, poor execution. Feeling quite frustrated with it currently and shopping for another robot companion. LoL

If you have a pet that sheds, you are probably going to find this very useful. It was a revelation for me as to how much my dog sheds when i saw the amount the amount of pet hair iLife a10s collected. I clean the dust container and wheel brushes almost daily . I like to keep my equipment clean. It also helps the cleaner give its best each time it cleans. The map function in the device is perfect. It scans the house quickly and it homes in on the base station also perfectly. The device is great at navigating random obstacles as long as they are not human. The moment it comes across a human in its path, it cancels its program and goes back to the base station. So, stay out of its way when its cleaning. Cleaning is 80-90% good. Meaning there are going to be missed spots . No harm in doing another run on a given room or a spot! costs nothing. For best results remove as much furniture as you can from the floor and pickup bits of paper or other non-dust/hair items from the floor. These tend to jam the cleaner. This is not like your regular vac that can suck in even larger pieces of garbage. I also found that its best to keep the base station on a power line that has a UPS/Inverter on it. The robovac got confused mid cleaning when power went out. I had to re-pair the bot to the wifi. For cleaning, Its easy to remove the dust containers, wheel brushes etc., detangling human hair from the wheel brushes is going to be the only biggie. Pet hairs are not long enough to tangle and end up in the dust container . Its easier if you clean it every day after a cleaning session. Keeps the job simpler. The dust container and the brush lids plastics are not the best quality, but they are not bad either. I have not tried mopping. Our house help does the sweeping and mopping at a different time. Yes, the bot collects a container full of pet hair and dust 12 hours later in spite of the house help’s efforts. Its easier in weekends too after a session of cleaning cobwebs and AC filters one has to just make sure all the dust is on the floor and ask the bot to clean it up.
Post cleaning the floors feel like they have been mopped (even if i dont use the mop function). It does a good job. Neither this product nor our house help can do 100% percent clean job day after day. At least the robot will happily clean your whole house the second time without grumbling.
I end up using the smart app and room specific cleaning function all the time asking the kids/pet to stay out of the room being cleaned. The fact that this cleans under the bed and steel almirahs keeps those spots clean too. House helps usually miss those on a regular basis.
make sure to mark virtual walls to your no-go areas such as bathroom or balconies from where it cannot come back on its own or is likely to get damaged.
At times i’ve noticed that it gets stuck between dining table chairs and asks for help to get out of the spot. More often than not i have had to restart the room cleaning from the beginning. Its easier to keep the dining chairs out of its way (like on the table itself) so that the bot can clean without obstructions.
Lesser the obstructions faster it cleans as it does not have to slow down to navigate the obstacle. Thanks to lidar and obstacle sensor it does not ram into obstacles. It slows down automatically when it nears an obstacle and carefully navigates it. Since this is down slowly & carefully, it slows down the cleaning process. So, removing obstacles speeds up cleaning time.
Is it worth the price? I’d say yes especially if you have a pet and you find yourself constantly dusting pet hair from everything in the house.

My app said that the twin brushes, main brush and the hipaa filter are nearing 50% efficiency. a visual inspection shows only the main brush having a lot of wear. What happens is the hair when it tangles on the main brush tightly coils around it and cuts through the softer rubber parts. The cuts increase as time goes by as more and more hair tangles around the brush. I guess we may have to replace the main brush every 6 months or so. I’m okay with that. The container gets full with just about 600 sqft of vaccuuming. Thats how much dust and pet hair it picks up. No complaints.

The Lidar unit makes this vac exceptional. We are in the middle of moving with boxes everywhere and this guy traverses everything fantastically. It got tied up on a draw string up found in the closet , shut down , notified us what was wrong and once we extricated the cord off he went. We have two dogs and this unit keeps everything clean and neat. For the price this us a GREAT buy. Not disappointed in the least.
You can hardly hear it roaming so we let it go on a 3am schedule . By the time we wake Hes back in the dock charging.

This machine worked way better than I expected. After comparing it with top end vaccum on the market (Roomba i7+, S9 etc) and some lower end ones (Shark). I have concluded that the LIDAR technology is really better than Vslam in general. This Ilife S10 was able to create a smart map of a ~4000sqft, multi-room, multi-foyer location within about 10min of first usage. It navigated as if it has a set of eyes. The map was so accurate that it shows the legs of dinning tables and a room which is round shape.

After that, we pretty much just use the vaccum with the app. We could draw out a specific location on the map and ask it to just go there. That is exactly what we needed. The vaccum was able to retun home 100% of the time. Perhaps it is not the quietest and most powerful, but the ability of going exactly were we ask to was the key for us.

VS. competitor: Vslam technology is really not good enough for a large and complex layout. “Vaccuming everywhere” in the house is very unpractical. Because the robot will stuck before being able to map. Even a top end roomba (which excel in Vslam tech) stuggles to make a good map. While a Sharke (a poor implementation of Vslam) was just trash as it could not map prorperly at all.

I recently tried out the ILIFE T10s, and it’s been performing exceptionally well. I chose this model mainly for its ability to handle cat hair, and it does so effortlessly. The powerful suction pulls in pet hair without scattering dust, making it ideal for homes with pets or dust sensitivities.

The packaging was secure, and the vacuum arrived in excellent condition. Setup was easy, with a clear manual and intuitive app. Mapping my home went smoothly, and the T10s navigates around furniture like chair legs without any issues. While it doesn’t reach tight corners perfectly, its overall cleaning performance is impressive.

The low noise level is another great feature, as it operates quietly.

I was particularly impressed with the technical support. Vinay from the support team assisted me when something got stuck inside the charging/dust collection dock, guiding me through the troubleshooting process effectively.

Overall, the ILIFE T10s is an excellent choice, especially for pet owners. It efficiently handles pet hair, operates quietly, and has great customer support, making it a solid investment.

I bought this robot because i wanted Lidar, and multi-floor mapping. my house is all hard flooring so I cannot speak for its carpet abilities. a quick tip for hard floors, in the app, you can set the side brush speed, set it to less than 5% to pretty much eliminate all scatter that even some really expensive robots have

the robot does its job, not perfectly. but for the price (especially with the 120$ coupon) its perfectly fine.
I have long hair and while there are some tangles, its nothing significant and all the brushes can be quickly removed to de-tangle them. the dust bin is very large and other than the first run, it takes a couple runs before you need to empty it. the app also has a maintenance page to show you when you should look to change the replaceable components (side brushes, main brush, filter). the app works well enough, but is clunky and sometimes takes a long time to update the robots status. It has all the features you’d expect from smart navigation: no go lines, multiple maps, scheduling, its all there just like the much more expensive robots.

Some negatives. the algorithm for cleaning is just a bit too wide. I find I sometimes have to run it again if its cleaning a bigger mess. also, there is no notifications pushed to your phone from the app letting you know if the robot has a problem. you’ll only find out if you are in the app.
also not explicitly stated, but edge and spot cleaning modes are only for the manual mode (without docking), the instructions dont tell you this, so it can be confusing.

I would really like to see Ilife add an auto empty bin for this robot. That would be the only real thing missing from this robot.

overall, its a great robot that does its job well enough for me and has the main features I wanted. I am definitely looking to try out the mopping feature sometime in the future when i buy that piece ( which swaps with the dust bin)

Like many, I noticed that the ILIFE A10 offered a lot of features of higher priced robotic vacuums at a lower cost. I was initially skeptical but figured I’d give it a try as there are new pets in the house. I was concerned that hair would not be picked up on the carpet and it may be very loud or just difficult to use and maintain. In practice none of these issues actually came up and there were some features I didn’t expect would come in handy but I found I used anyways.

The initial set up of the A10 is pretty straight forward. I would suggest getting it on the WiFi so you can control the robot remotely and from your phone. It’s nice to be able to view the floor plan of the home but also see where the robot is and where it’s been as the app shows the path the robot has taken while its actively vacuuming. The other feature I thought was useful was being able to control the suction power from the app. Ultimately I use the vacuum fairly frequently so I found you could lower the power to keep noise down. This is nice as WFH makes it difficult to use the vacuum while at home if it’s too noisy. I didn’t think I’d need the physical remote that comes with the vacuum, however found it to be useful. It makes it a lot easier for anyone at home to just push a button to start the vacuum and I found doing this while leaving the home makes it even easier than fumbling around in an app if you’re in a hurry.

Finally the actual performance of the vacuum works as expected. Coming from a corded vacuum I was concerned there may not be enough power, but that wasn’t an issue. Since you can have the vacuum run as often as you’d like the floors are consistently clean. It’s also super satisfying and shocking to empty out the bin and find so much stuff. I think the main thing I’d like is if the A10 could empty itself out and then it would truly be automated
