I replaced a 20 yr old hob with this – so that the new hob fits correctly into the granite cut – it was a perfect match. The SS Matt finish looks good. Easy to clean. There was a level problem while installation. The technician did not do a proper job. The rubber gasket provided is too thin and gaps were visible between hob & granite. I had to use plasticine to seal the base & reinstall the hob properly to avoid the gaps below.
As for after sales service, Faber is not at all good. They don’t provide spares like knob rubber, grating rubber, burners or for that matter, any spare. Their technicians don’t have proper training too. That was my experience during the lifespan of the CH40AD. I hope FABER carries spares for this model for at least 10 yrs.

This one fits my budget and I am very much satisfied with the quality of the product.
It is easy to clean,
The design of the burners should be adjusted as per Indian kitchen needs. Some they feel to be slow sometimes.

Installation was done the next day by the Faber person. A nice hob with automatic ignition and enough burners for a small family. Good quality materials and a beautiful stainless top. Works well and a value for money product.
