I have mixed feelings about this purchase. I chose Atomberg after considering several brands. Not sure if I took up the decision to purchase purely based on the review system or not. But I have noticed many genuine reviewers pointing out some things which I would like to point out. The fan is costly because it is a Bldc. But so many other brands are equally costly. We replaced two working fans with these two new ones. The Kahitan fans was working fine since 1995 and they haven’t broken down not even a single time in the past 28 years. The new fan came with good packaging. But no one came for installation. I called Amazon and they said the brand will contact me. When I called Atomberg, they asked me for extra money with GST for the installation. And the installation cost was for each fan rather than a visit. Since the installation cost was above 15% of the fan purchase cost, I felt that it is absurdly costly. So I decided to do it by myself. After all, I am an Engineer. Installation was quite easy. As other reviewers posted, there is some gap between the bottom cup and the motor which invite more dust inside the moving parts. We can use the same remote for both fans, the only thing is that you need to point it correctly. The remote quality is okay-okay. The speed of the fans is low. It is a 20% reduction from the old Khaitan fan I had. However, there is a difference in airflow. I old fan felt like a blip at regular intervals and the new one felt like a flow. When it comes to heat dissipation, I felt like it is doing the job just enough. Since I don’t have any device to measure the airflow I can only speculate. But clearly, the speed is less and it is evident. Since they asked extra amount for installation I am not sure about the after-sales repair costs. I am assuming I will rather buy a new fan than a getting it repaired by Atomberg. I would think twice before buying another atomberg fan.

Everything is Perfect and power consumption is extremely low at top speed over my pure sine wave inverter during AC Mains power cutoff. But fan speed & Air delivery at level 1, 2 & 3 is no enough and the rotation of the motor is extremely low.. Best speed & Air delivery can be observed when running at level 4 and above. Otherwise this 1400mm size fan would be good enough for 10/10 room when running at all speed levels of the fan. Atomberg should rethink and do something about it’s lower speed issues to serve good Air delivery. Speed Level 1 to 3 seems useless & unsatisfactory to me when I need them the most.

These are simply fantastic, replaced tye existing fan ib my parents home with this, the aim was to experience it before getting fans for my new house.

The perfomance is better than normal fans for me, the fans should be able to pay back the extra money that you spend compared to normal fans in about three years. Also while building a new house you can ditch the cost of Regulators which cost around 1000 to 1500 Rs for good brands.

The remote simplifies life, the sleep mode and timer modes are handy and is helpful in daily use.

Service also has been good, attended my query eventhough small in two days.

Update: 19 Feb 2022

The fan started giving weird noises, raised complaint and technician visited in two days. So it seems the blades are out of balance. It is also wobbling which was a small concern initially but now it has worsened. They have orderd replacement blades, waiting for them and will update once received.

Even though they are attending the issue as a company, I have started loosing my confidence in the product. After all we need peace of mind when it comes to fans.
I bought 12 fans for my house and now I am really worried.

The wall fan models they have is really noisy and I am not at all happy with them. If at all you are planning to buy any wall fans pl be sure that you give it a try in some local shops ( even though I tried, they dont usually stock the wall fans of Atomberg in these area) and see whether the sound levels are ok. I could hear them humming even from the second room to where they are placed.

A normal fan consumes about 70-80 watts on average, while this BLDC fan only takes up to 30 to 35 watts at Boost mode and it’s a great way to save around 50% of your electricity.

However, you may feel that the speed of this fan is low due to it’s RPM but the air flow is continuous unlike the traditional fans.

I’ve replaced 2 working fans with BLDC fans and I’m a happy man.
